This may not seem like a big deal to most, but our 2 year old is finally taking baths again! I can't remember how old he was, but William developed this fear of baths and has been taking showers with Jon and I for well over 2 years now. Well, the other night we were able to persuade him to take a bath with Matthew. Let's hope this continues. He seemed to really have a good time!

Fun in Olympia!
After 7 months of waiting, we finally got to meet Everleigh! Everleigh and Matthew are exactly 3 months apart and Cara and I joke that they will get married. Well, at the very least, these two will be life long friends. They hit it off immediately and I can't wait to watch them grow up. I just wish they didn't live in Austin! Of course William had fun too. It was a long day, but I'm so glad we went down for the day.
Molly's Visit
Growing up, cousin Molly was always over and we would have so much fun. She moved to Arizona almost 20 years ago, and we have definitely missed having her around. This past week she came to visit, bringing her husband Brad. It was so fun catching up and getting to know Brad. We are hoping we will be able to go to Arizona sometime soon to visit...maybe during Spring Training!

Day out with Thomas!
I'm not going to lie. I was a little disappointed with our Day out with Thomas. Maybe I had too high of expectations? I don't know. The train ride was 30 minutes long, moving at a snails pace, in a rickety, old train car. Some of the windows were missing. We did however, go by the Snoqualmie Falls, which are amazing, and got a bird's eye view of them. As for the "fun activities" they were seriously lacking. We did take a picture of Thomas, but that was it really. The boys did have fun, but I think I was expecting more. Who knows, maybe we'll do it again. Or, I hear Centralia's is better. Maybe we'll venture south.
10 Months!
Little Bo-Bo is 10 months old! We love his personality that is starting to shine through. With non-stop smiles, a laugh that lights up the room, and the desire to be included in any and everything that is going on, this little man is a total momma's boy (which I love!) and a daddy's boy. As soon as Jon walks in through the front door, MeeMoo perks right up and let's his disappointment be known if Jon doesn't come grab him right away. When he's happy and looking for laughs, we does his scrunch face and laughs right along.
He's an awesome morning napper, usually 2.5-3 hours. The afternoon naps are a little trickier, but he's usually good for about 1-1.5 hours while William takes his. He has no problem going to sleep at night, but is still getting up 1-2 times. I'm praying that sleeping through the night comes soon!
He loves all foods, except he's not a huge fan of vegetables. We can get him to eat them, it just takes some work. He can feed himself finger foods with no problem at all!
He's pulling himself up whenever the opportunity presents itself, so we are just waiting for those first steps to come. I know it's what he wants more than anything...to be able to run after big brother. In the meantime, he scoots after William in his walker. Our poor walls!

Seabrook!
Every year, around July 16th & 17th (our wedding anniversary and my birthday) we like to plan some sort of vacation. This year, we chose to go to Seabrook. We had gone last year and loved it, and knew the boys and Bailee would have a blast again. We loaded up the car and embarked on our journey. We made it to Tacoma before William had to make his first potty break. I guess as parents we should be thrilled that he doesn't want to have an "accident" in his pull-ups, but my goodness, it made for a long car ride! We had to stop again somewhere near McCleary, where Matthew had to be nursed and William had to go potty again. Then one last time we pulled off on the side of the road because William was hysterical that he had to go!
When we finally arrived, we headed right for the beach so everyone could get their beans out while we waited for our cottage to be ready. William loved the sand, Bailee was in heaven chasing her ball, and Matthew was content just being carried.
During our 4 day/3 night stay, we had tons of fun digging, walking along the beach, searching for sand dollars and shells, Matthew loved crawling in the sand, walking the wooded trail to the beach, going to the park, walking around the neighborhood while William rode his "motorcycle" (aka radio flyer scoot-about), going to the community swimming pool, renting a bicycle and towing William behind, making rootbeer floats, s'mores, and enjoying each other's company.

William was pretty funny too during the trip. He called footprints in the sand "sand feet." Got his feet wet despite trying to run from the encroaching water as fast as he could. After that, he was constantly asking if the water was coming. And, while on Daddy's shoulders, he would ask "Hi water, what are you doing?" To a dead seagull, that I didn't even think he had seen or realized what it was, asked "Hi bird, what are you doing, are you sleeping?" To the slugs we saw everywhere, he asked "did that come out of me?" I guess he thought the slugs looked like his poop.
We can't wait to go again!

Happy 4th of July!
This year we were finally brave enough to watch a parade with the boys. We joined the Wittenberger family and walked to Yarrow Point where we watched old cars drive by and had candy thrown our way. William was in love! It was so much fun and after the parade we enjoyed hot dogs.
In the evening, we laid low at our house, BBQ'd and had our own mini fireworks...ok, ok, they were just Pop Its. Still, we had fun!
"Draw Garbage Trucks"
Every night, we get the request to draw garbage trucks or street sweepers, and when we say no, William's new response has been, "One, just one, please." Well, this boy has watched us draw hundreds of garbage trucks and street sweepers and now draws his own. I can't believe how good his trucks are! He also draws a very good street sweeper.
Look Who Likes to Stand!
Yep, Matthew has been pulling himself up to a standing position for a couple weeks now. We know it's just a matter of time before he takes off running!
