Well, with so many of our neighbors cutting down trees, we've decided to get in on the action. Tuesday will mark this trees last day. William was hard at work helping Daddy remove the rock wall behind the tree so that the men will be able to use the stump grinder.

11 Months!
This little man is 11 months old and his first birthday preparations are in full swing!
He is honestly one of the happiest kids I know and always has a smile on his face! We ventured out for Mexican food with Uncle Ryan, and an elderly woman came up to the table and asked "Is he always so happy?" Yes, yes he is!
He loves baths, eating his solids, and anything involving his older brother. We are still not walking, but I swear, he knows what he's not supposed to get into and makes a bee line for it everytime. Take Bailee's water bowl. MeeMoo will look over his shoulder, see I'm preoccupied or a little ways away, and will dart to the water bowl laughing the whole way. William thinks it's hilarious and laughs "MeeMoo!"
Sleep is still an issue. We are getting up at least 3 times a night. I just don't have the heart to cry it out yet. Besides, this is only a phase and should pass quickly. That's what I keep telling myself.
William is the proud older brother and taught MeeMoo how to clap. Now, anytime we say "Yay," MeeMoo knows to start clapping and looks so proud when he is.

Best Buds!
The more mobile MeeMoo gets, the more fun it seems these two have. The other day they were both in stitches laughing as they played in William's "Playhut."
Watching the Neighbors Cut Down Trees
The other day, I heard William excitedly say, "Oh wow, look at that MeeMoo! Come watch!" And this is where I found them, both boys glued to the screen door watching the wood chipper, stump grinder, and men with chain saws hard at work.
Swim, Swim, Swimmin'
What do you do to beat the sweltering heat...take a dip in the pool, of course! Both boys love the water and are little fish!

Cousin Oliver!
We could barely contain our excitement...cousin Oliver from Maryland came to visit! Of course, we were happy to see his parents too! So many of my memories of the East Coast are centered around Amber and we always have a good time when she's around. And, she's so much braver than I am. She and her husband braved the cross country flight with a 6 month old! We are hoping I gain enough courage to make the trek to Maryland...only time will tell. ;)
