Jen's Photos

The following are photos that Jen took of William during one of our playdates at her house. She has such an amazing eye. Thank you Jen!

The Will

It's been awhile since we've provided an update. Since our last posting, William and Mommy have enjoyed play dates with Jen and son Alex, shopping excursions with Auntie Ellen, a long holiday weekend with Daddy, visits to Grandma Victoria and Grandpa Dave's, and walks with Bailee.

William is growing so much. An informal weighing last night put him at almost 13 pounds. He almost slept throught the night, getting up a little after 5, and only because Mommy startled William while checking on him. We are hoping for a repeat tonight.

Day of Visitors

After a delicious dinner party at Grandma Susan and Grandpa Steve's last night with the Wittenberger's, we spent Sunday visiting with Auntie, David Goldman, and Lori Ketterlin. William continues to amaze everyone with how easy going and content he is.

Going to Work

We got to visit Dad's work today where Dad's co-workers crowded around and took turns holding William. William very much liked his visit and enjoyed having lunch with Mom and Dad at Red Robin.

2 Month Doctor Visit

Today was William's 2 month doctor visit. Doctor Shifrin was impressed with William's development and growth and said William is right where he needs to be for a 2 month old. He measured in at 23 inches long, and weighed a whopping 10 lbs 13 oz. In addition, it was shot day, and William didn't even cry during the shot.

We've been working on our tummy time, and William's been holding his head up and pushing up with his arms.

And Bailee has enjoyed napping alongside William.
We should also report on our New Year's weekend. New Year's eve was uneventful and all were in bed and fast asleep by 10:30. New Year's day was spent at Grandma Victoria and Grandpa Dave's where a ham dinner with macaroni and cheese, green beans, deviled eggs, baked beans, and key lime pie was enjoyed.

Saturday we celebrated our good friend Caitlin's birthday with a birthday breakfast at Hector's in Kirkland. This was our first restaurant adventure with William, and he was as content as could be in his car seat. He did manage to have a pretty stinky poop though and Mom was forced to have the first public restroom diaper change experience. Luckily we all survived.

Saturday evening our good friends Andrew and Melissa came over with their son Aiden to enjoy pizza and time with the little man.

And Sunday, William was visited by our friends Mike and Vicki Wittenberger.

2 Months Already!

It's hard to believe that our little man is 8 weeks old today! We were talking yesterday, and William's stay in the hospital seems like a lifetime ago, yet, we can't believe how big he is getting. Every day seems like he is reaching a new milestone. He has more alert times, and the alert times are longer. William loves staring at lights. He is also starting to grasp objects, shirt collars, fingers, and mommy's hair. Happy 2 month birthday William, we love you!
