Solid Food!

Will ate rice cereal for the first time last night. Nothing too flashy. Here is the video:

William's First Vacation!

We just got back from our week long vacation in Ojai, California where we enjoyed the sun, relaxed, shopped, went to the beach, and spent time with family. We cannot wait to visit again!

Now, we've all been on a flight where at least one kid cried the entire trip. As such, we were a bit apprehensive of our 2.5 hour flight...we didn't want to be that family. We are happy to report, our worry was all for not. Will was the perfect traveler, and we even received compliments from some of our fellow travelers. He slept the entire flight down, and cried for about 3 minutes on the return flight (I think because he was sad to be leaving California).

The following are some of our photos from the trip:

Happy Easter!

We slept in until 9 this morning and woke to find an easter basket for William. The easter bunny left William 2 Sandra Boynton books, a cell phone, and a little snoopy dog...all of which he loved. We enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast and family time before it was off to Grandpa and Grandma's for a traditional easter dinner. We enjoyed a baked ham, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, green beans, scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs, key lime cupcakes, and chocolate cupcakes...yum! William received a book from Grandma and Grandpa, a book from Uncle Pat and Houston, and an activity center from Boomie and Papa. What a lucky little boy!

On a side note, William is really enjoying his jumparro time and can be heard laughing with delight. He can finally touch the ground and reach the jumparoo's toys. Here he is enjoying himself:

5 Months!

Our sweet little William is 5 months old...where does the time go?
He is successfully sleeping in his crib, however, he has begun waking up around 4 in the morning, and most times he is able to put himself back to sleep, and wake up around 6. His night time routine consists of a bottle from dad around 8, a book, and his mobile and lambie or glow worm on. We've found that William likes to sing himself to sleep with his mobile.

He is really turning into quite the little communicater and just know we are in for a ton of questions once William is speaking.

We've begun teething and as a result have quite the drool factory and Will loves to try and stick his fist in his mouth.

He is fascinated with his own reflection. The other day I caught him making his "I'm about to cry" face and as soon as he saw it in the mirror he started to laugh.

It's amazing how Will's laugh and/or smile can light up a room! We love you little man!
