Q: Can 1 Diaper Hold 7 Days Worth of Poop?

A: No, not even close!

Rumor has it, the people want more poop stories, so here you go! 3 days ago, after no sign of poop even after forceful pushing on Will's part, we decided to try prune juice. We are not sure if the prune juice finally took effect today, but on our way home from Target, we heard Will pushing. Not long after we heard the pushing, we needed to roll all of the windows down, and even that didn't help with the smell. Thank goodness we were not far from home. Will was rushed upstairs, where we encountered the poop of the century...it was everywhere! Again, not seeing how we could successfully remove Will from his onesie and Jon determining there was no time to grab the "jaws of life," he called in the Hulkster (ie, Jon) and ripped Will from his onesie with his bare hands. Will was laughing nonstop during this whole ordeal, and I was too a little.

Hopefully, Will's next poop occurs in the next few days. We'll keep you posted Tim.

Just a Boy and His Dog

Apparently Will did not want to have his picture taken with Bailee.

Calling in the Jaws of Life!

One of our concerns we talked to the doctor about yesterday was the fact that William had not pooped in 7 days! The doctor assured us that this was normal, William was not constipated, that he was just very efficient and not generating any waste. Well, last night we had our first poop in 7 days, and it was a doozie! We've experienced blow-outs in the past, but this one definitely takes the cake. His rice cereal has changed the consistency to peanut butter, and it was everywhere. Not knowing how to get his onesie off without getting poop all over his face, Jon called for the "jaws of life" and we cut William out of his onesie...yes, I said cut him out. Really, there was no other alternative. Sorry, no picture of this one...we didn't think it appropriate. ;)

Happy Half Birthday!

Little man is already 6 months old! We still have no teeth, although we are convinced they will be making an appearance any day now...we've been saying that for atleast a month. But, Will is a serious drool factory these days and is obsessed with gnawing his fist. I think we are also in the midst of a growth spurt, that is the only explanation I can think of as to why Will is suddenly not sleeping through the night and waking at midnight, 2:30 am, and 5:30 am for nightly feedings. May 4th is his next well-child appointment and we'll be able to state his stats then and verify this major growth spurt. He definitely seems to be growing though...he's out of his Costco 1-2 diapers, 3-6 month clothes barely seem to fit him anymore, and his 6 month Carter's jammies no longer fit. He's turned into a belly sleeper, and we often find that he's migrated up to the top of his crib with his head in the corner.

Will has discovered Bailee and is in absolute love with her! If he's in a fussy mood, all I have to say is "where's Bailee?" and he'll imediately search the room for her, lock his eyes on target and light up with the biggest smile. I wish Mommy and Daddy could get that kind of response. Bailee likewise is in love with Will. She loves giving him kisses and Will does not seem to mind one bit.

He's very talkative and loves to hear his own voice. Seriously, in the time its taken to write this post, Will has been nonstop in his swing!

We went in for our 6 month professional photos today and Will was the perfect baby, Mr. Smiley (very different from our 3 month experience)! We'll post those as soon as we get them.
