14 Days and Counting!

It's hard to believe that this little man will be turning 1 in 2 weeks! Birthday planning is in full swing!

Snoqualmie Falls!

After the pumpkin patch adventure, and possibly a wrong turn, we decided to visit Snoqualmie Falls, which was misty and beautiful! We then headed to North Bend for lunch, where William enjoyed a biscuit, water, and sweet potato fries with ketchup. It was quite the day, and we loved it.

Pumpkin Patch!

This morning we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and took Will to pick out his birthday pumpkin. We headed out to Remlinger Farm in Carnation where we visited the u-pick pumpkins, grabbed a wheelbarrow, and set off in search of the perfect pumpkin. Will loved it! Next year we will take advantage of the corn maze and Fall Festival.

11 Months!

How is it possible that our little boy is 11 months?! These days, William is constantly on the move, enjoys watching other kids talk and play, and loves watching how things operate and then trying to mimic. He knows how to turn on and off lights, open and close the kitchen cabinets and drawers, climb up stairs, loves playing with all of his toys and is content in his pack 'n play (sometimes), can feed himself puffs and cheerios. He is extremely ticklish and we love hearing his big belly laughs.

Sleep has been somewhat of a challenge. William went through a 4 day struggle where he was absolutely inconsolable at bedtime and would take over 2 hours to go to sleep. We finally decided to try the cry it out method, which surprisingly, only lasted 14 minutes and then he was fast asleep. Since then, William has been falling asleep fairly easily and sleeping until about 5:45 - 6:30...we wish he would learn to sleep in! He is still taking two naps most days, one at 10:00 and the second at 3:00. We are very thankful for these little breaks.

Boy in a Box

The other night, William decided it would be fun to play in his toy box. Seriously, this entertained him for atleast 30 minutes!
